JICA

Achhi Aadat

JICA India has launched a campaign, "Achhi Aadat (Good Habit)" to raise awareness among 10 crore people about the importance of hygiene practices for preventing the spread of COVID-19 and other infectious diseases, in collaboration with NGOs, government authorities and Japanese companies. The campaign's objective is to introduce a simple and practical approach to hygiene and sanitation-related issues by promoting handwashing, nail cleaning and other hygiene practices.

Supporting Healthcare Workers

KAI India, has launched a nail hygiene awareness programme for schools and healthcare workers. Under the programme, KAI India distributed more than 20,000 nail clippers in schools and health centres. With the slogan ????? ???, ?? ?????? ??? ?? (you are healthy if your nails are clean), the programme by KAI India raised awareness about the importance of nail hygiene among hospital staff, healthcare workers (HCWs) and schools, in association with a voluntary organisation Goonj.

Hand and Nail Hygiene

A programme was launched in Sonipat district of Haryana in collaboration with the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) with the help of local Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) where attendees were handed the nail clippers developed with Japanese technology requires 3 times less force than any other comparable nail clipper.

An on-going Covid crisis, all throughout the world, made us reconsider our values, and standing for each other is one of them. We tried to extend a helping hand to the Delhi Government through Delhi Police by providing food aid to over 100 families and contributing to the PM-Cares Fund.

KAI India organized awareness drive against Coronavirus at Kendriya Vidyalaya Delhi Cantt, and distributed nail clippers to promote better hygiene practices. With the increasing spread of diseases like coronavirus, KAI India would like to create a personal hygiene awareness among children.

A Nail hygiene awareness drive was initiated in collaboration with Fortis Hospital. To maintain awareness as well as hygiene, Kai India distributed Nail clippers to over 300 patients. During this current arduous time, this drive initiated the paramountcy of hygiene amongst the individuals.

Children Library Program

KAI India Children Library Program

As part of the community empowerment initiatives, on Children's Day, KAI INDAI started Children Library program in two schools in North East (Imphal) with an objective to develop sustained reading habit among children and community empowerment. These efforts are few steps contributing to our dream of 100% literacy & promoting higher education levels in India.

"KAI INDIA firmly believe that sustained reading habit and exposure to fine literature goes a long way in empowering community and building successful future for children. KAI INDIA would also be providing few Japanese books (English language) to expose children of rich Japanese culture," KAI CARES.
