Kai Corporation and its affiliates (“Kai Group”) provide services relating to various situations in daily life (“Services”) and collect personal information from many customers for business operations. Kai Group respects the privacy of companies and entities that use our Services and persons who use our Services (collectively, “Customers”), and will endeavor to pay utmost attention in managing
Customers’ personal information, and to be able to provide reliability and security as a company.
  1. Acquisition of personal information

    Kai Group will acquire personal information only through legitimate and appropriate means. In addition, in principle, Kai Group will not acquire any sensitive information of Customers such as race, beliefs, social status, medical history, and criminal record. However, this does not apply when Customers provide information by themselves.

  2. Use of personal information

    Purposes of use of personal information are as follows. Personal information will not be used beyond these purposes of use:

    A.personal authentication of Customers and provision of Services for Customers;

    B.communication associated with the use of Services, and delivery and sending of email newsletters, direct mail, various notices, etc.;

    C.provision of personal information to companies that are affiliated with Kai Group concerning Services based on the approval or request of Customers; and display of advertisements, content, and the like, based on attribute information, equipment information, location information, behavioral history, etc. and provision of Services;

    E.improvement of Services and development and marketing of new services;

    F.implementation of campaigns, surveys, trials, interviews, etc.;

    G.confirmation of details of opinions and inquiries about Services and response to the opinions and inquiries; and

    H.prevention and handling of misconduct and the like.

  3. Voluntary provision of personal information

    Kai Group will require Customers to provide personal information necessary to achieve the purposes of use. Although it is not necessary to respond to all items, if a Customer fails to answer certain question(s), the Customer may not be able to use the Services.

  4. Outsourcing of handling of personal information

    If Kai Group outsources all or part of the handling of personal information to a third party, Kai Group will conduct an impartial investigation of the third party. Kai Group will also conduct necessary and appropriate supervision of the third party to ensure the safe management of personal information the handling of which is outsourced.

  5. Provision of personal information to third parties

    Kai Group will not provide Customers’ personal information to any third party other than the companies or persons to which business is outsourced without the Customers’ consent. If personal information will be jointly used with other companies of Kai Group, specified items such as the scope of companies that will jointly use personal information and the purposes of use will be expressly specified or announced in advance. However, this does not apply when required by laws and regulations or when cooperation with public organizations is required.

  6. Confirmation and correction of personal information

    In principle, only the Customer himself/herself may request notification on “use of personal information”, disclosure, correction, addition or deletion, suspension of use, and suspension of provision to third parties of registered personal information.     In order to accurately understand Customers’ inquiries, details will be recorded. Please note this beforehand.

    Furthermore, the original copies of documents such as postcards used for the acquisition of personal information are disposed of after being stored for a certain period; therefore, please do not make requests relating to the original copies of documents.

  7. Organization and system

    Kai Group will comply with laws and regulations on the protection of personal information, and it will establish internal rules on the protection of personal information and comply with these rules. The internal rules will be reviewed periodically by the compliance committee. In addition, the personal information provided will be handled only by the information handler appointed by the personal information protection officer.

  8. Amendment to this policy

    Kai Group may amend this policy as needed, unless otherwise provided for in laws and regulations.

  9. Safety measures on the Internet
